About the resources

Project Amplify is an HCI student project founded in 2025. Its resources help Secondary 1 and 2 students practise communication and public speaking. The website provides student-made educational material, not personalised professional advice.

A reference to HCI identifies the students' affiliation. It should not be read as a statement of official school endorsement of this website.

Using the advice

Use the tips as suggestions to practise and adapt to your audience and circumstances. Communication styles and access needs vary, so no technique is a rule for every person or situation.

We aim to keep the material useful and accurate. If you spot an error or inaccessible content, please tell us. The resources do not promise particular grades, confidence levels or speaking outcomes.

Sharing and reusing content

You are welcome to share links to the website and the original Instagram posts. Copyright in text, designs, photographs and videos remains with the relevant rights holders.

For permission to reproduce or adapt project material, contact Jonas Ong. Linking to third-party material does not grant permission to copy it. These terms do not restrict uses permitted by applicable law or a licence that accompanies a particular item.

Responsible use

Do not interfere with the website's operation, try to gain unauthorised access, or present altered project material as the team's original work.

Video links open Instagram. External services have their own terms, privacy practices and age requirements. Project Amplify does not control their availability or the changes they make to their services.

Updates and availability

We may correct, update or remove resources as the project develops. The website and external links may occasionally be unavailable. Changes to these terms will appear on this page with an updated date.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
